Common fixes
Where is my list stored?
In a file on your Mac. With iCloud sync turned on, a copy also lives in your iCloud account.
Sync is not updating on my other Mac.
Check that both Macs are signed in to the same Apple ID and that iCloud Drive is turned on in System Settings.
Two Macs edited the same list.
Uplist keeps both versions and asks you which one to keep.
Where are my notes?
They are ordinary .md files in the folder you chose. You can open them with any other Markdown app.
Can I sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac?
Yes, through iCloud Drive or Dropbox. Point each device at the same folder.
Is it one purchase for all devices?
Yes. Buy once with your Apple ID and install on every device signed in to it.
Which recordings can I import?
Screen recordings from iPhone or Mac in the usual formats. iPhone recordings fit the iPhone frames; Mac recordings fit the MacBook Pro frame.
My export has a black background instead of transparent.
Choose the transparent export option and import the result into an editor that supports alpha, such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere, After Effects or Keynote.
Exports are slow.
Rendering happens on your Mac. Long or high-resolution recordings take longer, and closing other heavy apps helps.

Check that you are signed in with the same account on both. History syncs through that account, not through iCloud. You can create the account in the app or on the website.
A result is flagged out of range.
The flag compares your inputs with the usual bands for flux density and CMA. Re-check the nameplate and stator measurements first; the note under the flag says what the value usually means.
